Our Team
David E. Castro
Founding Shareholder
David E. Castro is our founding partner and litigator, taking the lead on all of our cases. David is well-known name in the local California legal industry, having secured results in several multi-million dollar cases throughout his career before starting his own practice.
Most recently, in 2024, David was awarded the Top Rated Civil Litigation award. David was also selected as Super Lawyer, Rising Star in both 2019 and 2020 – only 2% of practicing attorneys are ever awarded this particular accolade – as well as being recognized by Lawyers of Distinction. In 2020, the San Francisco Magazine recognized Mr. Castro as one of the Top Lawyer. Additionally, most recently in 2021, David was recognized for excellence in Civil Litigation by Lawyers of Distinction.
David is admitted and has extensive litigation experience in all federal district courts in California, where he has won multiple cases at trial and via summary judgment.
When he finds some spare time, David is involved with activities that benefit children, including coaching youth sports. He also enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and wine tasting.

Sebastian Ordonez
Paralegal
Sebastian graduated with his law degree from UTE University, in Quito, Ecuador. UTE is a well known university established over 50 years ago. In 2023, UTE achieved stellar recognition on a national scale. UTE is ranked second on the THE Impact Ranking and fifth in the THE Latin America Ranking. Sebastian brings years of experience as a paralegal and is especially skilled at organizing discovery and evidence to help efficiently prosecute your case. Sebastian also gained experience serving as a discovery specialist for a personal injury law firm in Miami, Florida before joining Castro Legal Group. Sebastian’s experience and schooling aids in his unrivaled ability to collect the right evidence and documents necessary to bolster our client’s position in every single one of our cases.
Legal Nurse Consultant
Our legal nurse consultant graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Maryland, Global Campus of College Park, Maryland. Hellen provides invaluable practical and real-world experience by having worked for several nationally acclaimed healthcare systems including, but not limited to, University of Maryland Medical Center, a teaching hospital that gets more than 26,000 inpatient admissions and 284,000 outpatient visits each year. Today our consultant continues to work supplement her knowledge by working in telemetry, medsurg, and cardiac progressive care units for well known health care organizations like Dignity Health or Kaiser Permanente.
Our consultant helps our team organize and analyze medical records, understand the most likely prognosis, and identify next step in care. Most importantly, our consultant bridges the gap between law and the world of nursing and healthcare.
During her spare time, our consultant enjoys hiking, yoga, and travel abroad.
